Will your team get one of the top 10 transfer possibilites of the winter transfer window?

1Who could potentially be in the move in the winter transfer window?
Carlos Tevez
Manchester City
Yes, Carlos Tevez has withdrawn his formal transfer request and thus committed his future to Manchester City, but has anything really changed for him at City? The club management, with whom he'd differed so bitterly, backed down to save their star asset, but that might not be enough. Any club in the world would love to have Tevez and he, enigmatic and unique as ever, could take his pick of them.

Potential buyers: Any club would love him. Few could afford him. The difficulties around Carlitos' rights are well-known. Jose Mourinho wants a striker at Real Madrid, but is Tevez the man for that job? A vast sponsorship deal taking him home to Boca Juniors isn't impossible.
2Who could potentially be in the move in the winter transfer window?
David Luiz
Benfica
The future of Brazil's defense, David Luiz has been a fan favorite since breaking through to the Benfica first team. Yet this state of affairs has recently changed: the youngster has been in poor form since autumn and is now the subject of heavy criticism. He's also recently turned down a contract extension and could be on the move.

Potential buyers: Manchester City are thought to be in the lead. Don't rule out a late approach from other clubs seeking center-backs - including Inter and Real Madrid.
3Who could potentially be in the move in the winter transfer window?
Glen Johnson
Liverpool
Liverpool's miserable campaign has been particularly difficult for Glen Johnson. The England international right-back is de jure part of the Liverpool squad, but coach Roy Hodgson is known to dislike the former Portsmouth player and would surely love to recoup some of his transfer fee in order to bring in some men of his own.

Potential buyers: Glen Johnson has a large and dedicated support base in Italy. This may be his most likely destination, provided that Liverpool continue to pay a portion of his wages. An emotional reunion with Jose Mourinho is, let's say, unlikely.
4Who could potentially be in the move in the winter transfer window?Thiago AlcantaraBarcelonaIt seems very strange, but Barcelona's midfield jewel isn't on a long contract. In fact his deal runs out in June 2011, and although there is a two-year option on it, it's not a given that the so-called "new Xavi" is going to stay at Camp Nou for long. He's very highly rated by fans and technical staff alike, so what is going on here is anyone's guess.

Potential buyers: Purely speculation, but Thiago may be looking for first team football. If so a top club with a space in central midfield will be his most likely destination - if he leaves at all.
5Who could potentially be in the move in the winter transfer window?
Fabio Coentrao
Benfica
One of the most sought-after left-backs in Europe, Fabio Coentrao will only leave Benfica for big bucks. That's because he only recently signed a deal keeping him in Lisbon until 2016. He's not understood to be in a hurry to move on, but with Benfica leaving the Champions League, a massive bid may force the club's hand.

Potential buyers: AC Milan and Manchester United are said to be top of the list to sign the 22-year-old, while Chelsea are an outside bet.
6Who could potentially be in the move in the winter transfer window?RonaldinhoAC MilanHis time in Europe appears to nearly be at an end. Ronaldinho apparently wishes to remain until the end of the season but with Antonio Cassano set to come in, AC Milan have little space for the Brazilian. His boyhood club, Gremio, have apparently agreed a deal already with the player's advisers.

Potential buyers: The list pretty much begins and ends with Gremio. The club from Ronaldinho's home town of Porto Alegre have apparently lined up the funds already, and although reports indicate that it may be a summer move, Ronaldinho may wish to leave earlier if he's told he's no longer going to play.
7Who could potentially be in the move in the winter transfer window?
David Trezeguet
Hercules
Eyebrows were raised when Hercules landed the likes of Royston Drenthe, Nelson Valdez and of course David Trezeguet ahead of their return to La Liga. Trezeguet's been a superb signing for the Alicante men, and has been rewarded with continental interest. He's pledged his future to the club and Hercules have said that he's definitely not for sale, and that seems to be that. But could a major bid change minds?

Potential buyers: Coachless Inter are said to be eager to shore up their attacking options by landing the Frenchman. Liverpool could also be an option, even though Trezeguet apparently rejected them in summer, as could a club higher up the scale in Spain.
8Who could potentially be in the move in the winter transfer window?
Gary Medel

Boca Juniors
Versatile defender-cum-midfielder Medel is one of Boca Juniors' best young talents. The Chilean arrived in Buenos Aires 18 months ago and has been an encouraging performer since then. Money troubles abound in Argentina and if the right offer comes in he'll certainly be on his way to Europe.

Potential buyers: There isn't much interest about Medel in the public sphere. "The Pitbull" has non-EU status at the moment and may thus struggle for suitors, unless he can find an Italian passport…
9Who could potentially be in the move in the winter transfer window?
Antonio Cassano
Sampdoria
Il Talentino di Bari is on the road again. His long-running legal battle with Sampdoria has come to an end, and although he was largely victorious nothing has changed in the sense that the Genovese are eager to push him out the door. Thankfully he has someone waiting to catch him on the other side.

Potential buyers: AC Milan are set to capture the jewel of the south. If they can keep him on the straight and narrow then they have, perhaps, the most naturally gifted Italian in Serie A at their disposal. If not… will they regret not waiting for Edin Dzeko? And remember, the contract's not signed…
10Who could potentially be in the move in the winter transfer window?Jermaine JonesSchalkeNewly-capped USA international Jermaine Jones has fallen off the European radar in recent years. That was due in the first instance to injury. But now, fully recovered, the outspoken central midfielder is still stuck in the reserves. That's due to a fight with coach Felix Magath, who may thus be willing to let the recently-capped, tough-tackling Jones move on.

Potential buyers: Jones' injury record will put many off but in a fast-paced league that needs enforcers he could shine. Any number of Premier League teams could do a great deal worse.
