Rooney out versus Bursaspor

Clearly due to his "ankle injury" and having nothing at all to do with his mounting personal problems nor he repeated desire to leave Old Trafford, Wayne Rooney will be held out of the Champions League tilt versus Bursaspor.

Most likely Mexican star Javier Hernandez will start opposite Dimitar Berbatov unless Furgueson decides to give Berbatov the day off and start Macheda or ancient Michael Owen.  This is a match that should be no trouble for the Red Devils so the loss of an out of form Rooney should not hurt very much.

Man U is currently tied with Rangers at the top of Group C with matching 1-0-1 records and both with +1 goal differentials.  If Man U is able to take care of business and get the expected 2-3 goal victory, then the likelihood of advancement to the round of 16 appears nearly certain.
