Traveling in style: Europa Cup edition

Liverpool is playing Napoli today in the Europa League Group Stages.  With Liverpool's recent lack of funds, it is nice to see that one of England's most traditional squads is still part rock star.

Yes, that is an Iron Maiden jet that Liverpool took to Naples for the match versus Napoli.  The captain of the plane was none other than Iron Maiden front man Bruce Dickinson.

For his part, Dickinson was happy to fly Liverpool around:
"Liverpool are an amazing club. They are more than a club, they are an institution and represent such a body of people here in the city. I hope they do well -- it would be good see them with their tails up."
Lets hope that Liverpool can use this motivation to get things straight and get back where they belong.
