Defensive midfielder Cambiasso and prolific striker Milito both picked up thigh injuries on international duty with Argentina as the South American nation lost 1-0 to Japan on Friday.
After the players returned to Italy for further assessment, Inter confirmed that Cambiasso will be sidelined for up to three weeks while Milito could be absent for as much as a month.

Rafael Benitez will not be able to call on either player for a game against Tottenham that sees the joint leaders of Group A do battle at San Siro.

Both Spurs and Inter have collected four points from their opening two games, while FC Twente and Werder Bremen have one apiece.
