European Cup Winners from the EPL.

An American in Bolton

Stuart Holden & Owen CoyleWhenever an American player heads overseas, the move is fraught with questions. Will he settle in quickly and crack the starting lineup, or will he find himself in purgatory, forgotten, and left to rot on the bench?

Fortunately for Bolton Wanderers and U.S. international midfielder Stuart Holden, getting playing time at a top club hasn't been a problem.

Netherlands injury set to sideline Kuyt until 2011

Liverpool's season appears to have gone from bad to worse as Dirk Kuyt suffered a serious ankle injury that could rule him out for the rest of the year in Netherlands' 4-1 Euro qualifying win over Sweden.

In a further blow for Roy Hodgson, defender Daniel Agger had to come off in the first half of Denmark's clash with Cyprus, throwing his comeback from a groin problem in doubt ahead of the weekend's crucial Merseyside derby against Everton.

Dutch forward Kuyt was taken to hospital in an ambulance after landing awkwardly following an aerial challenge. Netherlands coach Bert van Marwijk said he feared the injury was serious and that the team doctor was predicting a long time on the sidelines for Kuyt.

Kuyt's absence with test Liverpool's attacking depth as the club, currently languishing in the relegation zone, await a High Court judgment regarding its ownership.

Relegation.... lets hear some comments

Right now after 7 games played in the EPL: Liverpool, Wolverhampton, and West Ham are in the relegation spots.

Liverpool is looking square in the face at a 9 point deduction due to the twin idiots of English soccer, Gillett and Hicks, and the ownership mess they are causing.

Wolverhampton had not looked like a side that can fight the weekly rigors of the EPL season and may be destined to go the way of the relegated.

West Ham have finally put a couple strong games together tying Fulham and Stoke and defeating Tottenham.  They are still in last place with 5 points.

What do you think?  Do you think this is the three for relegation?  Does Blackpool keep getting points and staying in a comfortable area? Lets get your opinions...
